The Story
This smooth and sophisticated coffee is produced in the gentle hills nearby the town of San Antonio do Ampara in one of the most renown coffee regions of Brazil, Sul de Minas. Every coffee at Pinhal is carefully harvested when the cherries are fully ripe to ensure that they are packed with sweetness. The coffee farmer, Joao Newton, is a fourth generation coffee farmer. He and his wife Maria Christina work with around 70 staff to harvest by hand the beans and process them for market.
